SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia Reports 42% India Growth, Strengthens Trade Partnerships with 2026 Sales Mission

SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia has reinforced its focus on the Indian market with the successful completion of its India Sales Mission 2026, held across New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai from 5–10 2026.

The multi-city engagement follows a strong 42% year-on-year growth in room night production in 2025 (vs 2024), reflecting continued support from travel partners and GSA representation. The mission was led by Chatchaya Glaiprayong, Vice President – Sales, and Ramneek Lamba, Vice President – Operations, who engaged directly with key partners across the three cities.

The 2026 mission also comes at a key moment as the company transitions to SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia. While the brand evolves, the company maintains continuity across its portfolio, distribution network and long-standing trade relationships in India.

India remains a high-priority source market, supported by resilient outbound demand into early 2026. Growth is driven by strong travel intent, improved global connectivity and sustained interest in short-haul destinations, particularly Thailand, which benefits from visa-free access, and Indonesia.

SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia continues to work closely with its General Sales Agent (GSA) and trade partners across India, ensuring consistent market coverage, faster response to partner needs and stronger distribution across both B2B and B2C channels. The sales mission further strengthened these relationships through direct engagement with key travel agents, tour operators and corporate partners.

The company’s portfolio in Thailand and Indonesia is seeing solid traction. In Bali, Cross Vibe Paasha Atelier Bali Kuta remains a strong performer, while in Bangkok, Cross Vibe Bangkok Srinakarin continues to gain momentum, reflecting demand for well-located, lifestyle-driven stays among Indian travellers.

Jihong An, Senior Vice President – Asia, SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, said“India continues to be one of our most important growth markets. As we transition into SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, we are building on a strong foundation established over the years while strengthening our partnerships with the Indian travel trade. Properties such as Cross Vibe Paasha Atelier Bali Kuta and Cross Vibe Bangkok Srinakarin are performing well, reflecting the demand for accessible, lifestyle-led experiences in Bali and Bangkok. Our focus is to continue growing with our partners and delivering long-term value in this market.”
